Atkinson, James Henry (James Henry Atkinson was an ironmonger of 196 Hunslet Road, Leeds, who already had patended a window pulley (1886) and a candlestick holder (1897) when he applied for a patent for a mouse trap in December 1898.)
'The Nipper' rat trap, an early James Henry Atkinson design with spring and striker made from a single wire. Six turned over ends of iron wire on underside.
