Flask or bottle of grey stoneware, standing on a raised foot integral to the body, the body bulbous, with throwing rings evident on upper body, tapering from the shoulder and rising to form a narrow neck ending in a wide, rounded lip rim; the exterior covered in a rich iron-brown wash, of uneven tone and thickness and a light salt glaze giving a freckled appearance.
