Plate, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a square-sided foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim, the edge of the rim shaped, the sides of the well and the rim modelled with moulded strawberry plants and fruit; finely painted in purples, yellows and greens with to the centre of the well a scene showing three exotic long-tailed birds perched amidst spreading bushes on a patch of ground, the moulded strawberry plants and fruit overpainted in green, purple and red.
