Bowl, salad
Salad bowl, soft-paste porcelain thickly potted and barely translucent, square, standing on a pronounced foot rim, with curved tapering sides, slightly outturned rim and rounded, grooved corners; decorated under the glaze inside and out with the 'Lady Seaton' pattern of flowers transfer-printed in pale blue, comprising naturalistic sprays including roses, convolvuli, daffodils and forget-me-nots.
