Baby's binder
Flannel baby binder worn by William Llewellyn (1849-77) of Cwrt Colman, Bridgend.
Binders were wrapped around a baby’s body to cover the navel, sometimes with a coin covering the site of the umbilical cord, in the belief that this promoted healing.
