Tea cup, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim, rounded sides and plain loop handle, moulded reeding around the interior sides; decorated with to the front of the cup an oval panel containing the initials 'J.P.M.' painted in gilt, the panel enclosed by a puce ribbon and and floral sprigs, two further floral sprigs to the rest of the exterior sides and one to the interior, the handle picked out in puce. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides, moulded reeding around the sides of the well; decorated with to the well a round panel containing the initials 'J.P.M.' painted in gilt, the panel enclosed by a puce ribbon and and floral sprigs, two further floral sprigs to the sides of the well.
