Cream jug
Christian, Philip (Produced porcelain in Liverpool from 1765-1776, succeeding Richard Chaffer (1754-1765))
Cream jug, soft-paste porcelain, footring, scrolled loop handle with thumb rest, moulded and shaped rim, deep pouring lip; the body is moulded with a leaf and column design and painted with sprigs and sprays of flowers, the inside rim is decorated with a dot and line border in red enamel.
