Cup and saucer
Cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, cylindrical sides curving inwards towards the base, around the exterior upper body a moulded basketwork pattern divided into nine divisions by short raised ribs, a shaped edge to the lip-rim, double-curved loop handle with foliate moulding to the shoulder; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the exterior sides of the cup a large spray and several smaller sprigs of naturalistic flowers, a chocolate edge to the lip-rim, the handle picked out in chocolate. The body of the cup cracked and repaired. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides, the rim moulded with a basketwork pattern divided into twelve divisioins by short raised ribs, a shaped edge to the rim; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a spray and two sprigs of naturalistic flowers, a chocolate edge to the rim.
