Coal box, tin-plate, sarcophagus form, standing on four claw feet, to either end of the box twin lion mask and ring handles, rectangular stepped cover with a rectangular finial; the exterior covered with a brownish japan with traces of scroll and cornflower borders in silver to which the varnish has given a golden tinge.
