Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Butter tub and cover, soft-paste porcelain, the cylindrical tub with a dark buff, earthy translucency, the cover with a red, earthy translucency; slightly domed cover with a pine cone finial surrounded by applied acanthus leaf moulding; freely painted in polychrome enamels with a frieze of garden flowers.
