Dark orange and cream 'Caernarfon' Blanket: double-cloth tapestry blanket with representations of the University College of Wales and Caernarvon Castle and inscriptions. Central image is surrounded by emblems of Wales: dragons, leeks and daffodils. Front side are cream images on an orange ground and orange images on cream ground on the reverse. On the reverse, the inscriptions are readable in mirror image.
Side edges are selvages; upper and lower edge are finished with a double turn-back edge which is held with two rows of machine stitches using white thread.
