Plate, earthenware; octagonal, moulded in relief with flower heads over the rim and rope-twist moulding round the edge; decorated with blue overglaze transfer-printed oval cartouche containing the inscription 'HONEST LADS / AND / BONNIE LASSIES'; the cartouche partly painted with enamel colours, a blue painted line round the rim.
