Child's petticoat
Child's Welsh costume petticoat, about 1920. Worn in Waunarlwydd on St David's Day. Red flannel petticoat with black and white single thread shape. Cotton lining at hem. Grey cotton waistband fastened with two mother of pearl buttons. Machine and hand stitching. Flared shape, pleated into waistband.
