Roman samian bowl, decorated
The ovolo has a long tongue with a large rosette tip and a very fine wavy line border below. The design is a large scroll, its outline formed of a fine leafy wreath, with figure types in the lower. The surviving lower concavity contains a boar running to the left over a horizontal panel of small arrowheads. The boar, O.1671, was used by Germanus and others. The fan shaped leaf Hermet 1934, p. 6, 14.
