Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, curving into cushion moulded and slightly curved spreading sides; waved lip with six large and six small lobes; painted in enamels in the centre with a view of Cowbridge Church, overlooking a river and bridge; gilt continuous ivy border, plain gilt band to lip.
