Middle Bronze Age bronze looped palstave
A looped palstave with central midrib. It is an example of Smith's high flanged 'South-western' Type. The blade is expanded and bevelled. The original surfaces survive, although extensive pitting is present. The blade has probably been burnished in recent times.
