Seal impression: Admiral
A one-masted ship, the main sail charged with the arms of the duke: quarterly, 1. and 4. FRANCE (Modern), 2. and 3. ENGLAND; a label of three points each charged with a canton. On the embattled forecastle (decorated with fleurs-de-lis) stands a beacon, and under it the anchor. On the square stern castle (similarly adorned) a standard of the same arms is upheld by a greyhound. Beneath the boat, the waves of the sea.
