Slop bowl
Slop-bowl, greyish-buff coloured dry-bodied stoneware, standing on a cylindrical foot-rim, round curving sides, a broad band of vertical engine-turned banding around the lower body with above a frieze of applied classical figures, animals and flowering plants; around the exterior lip-rim a border of green and black chevrons, two silvered bands around the exterior body.
