Slop bowl
Slop-bowl, hard-paste porcelain. This has a ring stand and a slightly everted rim. The top half of the ring stand is decorated with gilt, and the body decorated with two gilt, iron-red and brown baroque cartouches with chinoiseries, interspersed with small sprays of flowers and insects. The inside of the bowl is decorated with a similar cartouche containing an oriental landscape scene in iron-red. The lip is decorated with an irridescence.
