Medieval silver finger ring
Decorative stirrup-shaped ring. It has a hoop of flattened cross-section. The bezel still retains a small red semi-precious stone,cabochon (probably garnet). The ring is complete, but the hoop has broken into two sections. Decorative rings of this type have a fairly widespread distribution.
