Cup, two-handled, cover and stand

Meissen

Two-handled cup, cover and stand, hard-paste porcelain, cup standing on a tall foot rim, flared sides, two scroll handles, domed cover with applied rose sprig finial, yellow ground, two white, shaped reserves to sides and two to cover, all containing deutsche Blumen' painted in polychrome enamels, pink and blue sprigs to sides, all reserves with a brown border outline, finial painted, gilding to handles, foot rim and rim of cover. Stand standing on a foot rim, spreading sides, everted lip, raised central rim, decorated in polychrome enamels withdeutsche Blumen', the centre with a three flowered spray, outside the central rim with one bouquet of flowers with a pink rose, two sprays, one with a pink rose, the other with yellow, orange and blue flowers and four sprigs, one a pink rose, gilding to central rim and lip, yellow ground to underside.
