Butter-tub and cover
Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Butter dish and cover, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy, pale buff translucency; shallow cylindrical shape, flat, slightly curved cover, with a pinecone finial; dish and cover painted with three pink, puce, and blue enamelled flower sprays between three gilt anthemions; gilt band to the foot rim, lip, and cover rim, and gilt finial.
