Ten-sided vase on a mounted circular base, the lower part arcaded with ten-gilded niches containing the Queen's Beasts on shallow plinths, each enamelled and gilded and holding a coat of arms; applied below the shoulders with shields decorated with emblems of the mother countries and seven commonwealth countries above identifying lables, together with the arms of the United Kingdom and of Wales in the centre; two lion masks and laurel pendants at the shoulders, all gilded; shallow stepped cover rising to a polychrome crown. On a ten-sided base of Australian black bean.
