Early Medieval glass cone beaker
Rim of cone beaker with opaque white trails; rim thickened and rounded in flames. Rim sherd; rim not bent outwards: horizontally laid spiral trail, starting 10 mm from rim, start of trail indicated as an elongated blob. Possibly made in Northern France (Campbell 91).

Site Name: Dinas Powis, Vale of Glamorgan
Notes: Cut XV, Layer (4a), Context- C C: Black, usually greasy soil, with small angular rubble; much bone, charcoal flecking; rich in finds. Excavation conducted in the promontory fort and the adjoining hill-slope enclosure.
