Dish, buff coloured earthenware, standing on a roundeed spreading foot, curving spreading fluted sides, the rim waved; covered all over with a whitish tin glaze, this then crudely painted in blue with to the centre of the well a design of stylized pears and leaves within a circular border of two blue lines, border to the rim of a repeating pattern of highly stylized foliage, a blue edge to the outer rim, a very bluish tinge to the glaze.
