Vase, urn shaped with a flaring, flattened rim moulded with stylised acanthus leaves, flaring neck leading to an urn shaped body, graduating to a slim pedestal with a plain flange between the base of the urn and top of the pedestal stem, flaring circular foot on a square plinth base, two handles, the upper part formed of S and C scrolls and stylised swan heads, the lower part formed of moulded stylised leaves; the urn body has a deep blue glaze, on one side is a shield-shaped gilt cartouche framing a painted arrangement of flowers placed on the capital of a Classical plinth, the remaining body and neck are painted with gilt motifs of stylised flowers, leaves and scrolls, the handles are gilt and the pedestal and base are gilt aside from their edges, where the blue glaze is visible, the flattened section of the rim is gilt, aside from the moulded flowers which are white with irregular spotting of the blue glaze.
