Mug
Mug, brown coloured stoneware, double walled lower body, the outer shell globular and standing on a straight-sided foot-rim, a round bottomed inner shell suspended within this, cylindrical neck with concentric bands of reeding around it, ridged loop handle; decorated with to the outer shell of the lower body a series of stylized floral sprays scratched into the stoneware, the flower heads of which are formed by pierced perforations in the shell of the mug, salt-glazed, a large hole to one side of the lower body.
