Bisque costume doll from Dieppe, c.1900
Bisque shoulder head with moulded hair, (blonde), (blue) eyes and rosy cheeks; stuffed body and limbs. Wearing (blue and white) cotton seersucker shirt with plain long sleeves and (orange red) v trim; A long skirt of thick, faded cotton (red) patterned (white) stripes, and a (blue) cotton apron over. (White) cotton underskirt, (white) knitted, knee-length socks, (black) leatherette boottees. A tartan ribbon bonnet tied under chin, (gold) earrings and a (gold) cross around the neck.
