Figure of Thomas Sexton, cream coloured earthenware, with some cracking of glaze and brown firing spots on flat upper part, standing on a roughly oval base with a gilt line round the front. Figure largely white with traces of bright gilding, in contemporary dress of black shoes, white trousers, coat, cravat and shirt collar, black beard moustache and hair, flesh coloured face and hands. Standing in front of a low brick wall, with right arm folded across chest, left arm resting on a hip height fluted column, left leg slightly forward.
