Roman pottery lamp
Complete lamp, small and crudely formed to resemble Loeschcke type IXb. Hard orange-brown fabric with dark brown slip overall, blackened at nozzle; a local product. Raised border to reservoir connected by a canal to nozzle; broad flattened handle with?moulded opposed hollows for hole subsequently pierced.
