Doll
A poured wax doll. Head and shoulder plate, arms and lower legs (missing) are made of wax. Shoulder plate threaded to the stuffed torso through eyelets in wax. Head impressively round with relatively long neck. Inset glass eyes (blue). Inset real hair (brown) in tufts. Hair netted concealing plaits. Red tint of facial features has faded. Arms bent, relatively large as are spade-like hands. Upper legs stuffed.
Clothing: long muslin dress, laced; linen petticoat and laced linen pantaloons. Laced sash and straw hat trimmed with pink ribbon.
