Jug, pearlware, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, double curve scroll handle; transfer-printed in black with around the exterior body a design showing a beehive, a seated female figure with a basket of fruit, a dove, playing cherubs, St. Paul's cathedral and a female figure seated in a chariot pulled by lions holding two portraits of male figures and with further cherubs holding banners and flags, the inscriptions "PEACE with FRANCE", "BRITONS / REJOICE", "GEORGE III" and "BUONAPARTE" are printed on the banners, flags and portraits, to the exterior neck and spout a border of scrolls, latticework patterns, flower heads and Greek key-shapes on a blue ground with below the inscription "BRITANIA'S TRIUMPH on the RESTORATION of PEACE. PLENTY attending the BLESSINGS of PEACE.", border of scrolls, flower heads and a latticework pattern to the interior lip-rim and spout, a pattern of honeysuckle to the handle.
