Vase, earthenware, moulded in the form of a tree trunk with rounded spreading foot-rim moulded with raised nodules to resemble those around a tree trunk, waisted body with fluted sides, scalloped rim; the exterior body covered with a brown slip, this then sprigged with diagonally arranged sprays of ivy which have been painted with silver lustre, a silver lustre band around the interior lip-rim.
