Plate, bone china, circular shape with rounded tapering foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim, a very slightly raised edge to the well, a shaped edge to the rim; finely painted in pink, green and gilt with to the centre of the well a small spray of roses surrounded by three rose buds, two gilt bands around the edge of the well, an elaborate border to the rim composed of five strings of roses painted on double oval gilt-speckled panels and enclosed by cartouches of gilt foliage, the panels interspersed with gilt foliate and floral motifs, a gilt edge to the outer rim.
