Neolithic pottery vessel
Sherds in a soft, friable sandy fabric. Abundant sandy inclusions up to 3mm across break both surfaces and the fabric has a laminated appearance in section. A rim sherd displays a simple rounded rim with, externally, a small applied pellet 10mm below it. Other sherds carry small, raised narrow cordons which appear to run vertically. Otherwise the vessel is undecorated.
