Teabowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, teabowl standing on a foot rim, flared sides, everted lip; decorated with two scenes, on one side with two figures in a landscape, buildings behind, trees to left, opposite a harbour scene, three central figures, two to left, water and buildings to right, both surrounded in elaborate gilt and brown cartouches with scrolling, patternwork and webbing, bottom decorated in puce with a landscape, a figure with a stick in the foreground, building to right, rock to left, ornamental gilt border to inner lip, gilt edge border to lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides, everted lip; decorated in polychrome enamels, the centre with a harbour scene, three figures in a boat in the foreground, buildings and trees behind, water to right, surrounded in a gilt and brown ornamental cartouche with scrolling, patternworks and webbing, ornamental gilt border to inner lip, gilt edge border to lip.
