Teacup, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape, with curvaceous ogee handle; painted with set pattern 471; a broad border of pale underglaze blue and gilt-lined floral crosses set on a salmon pink seeded ground, with green seeded shapes and gilt-lined pale blue leaves, bordered by a narrow and wider band of gilt; a stylised iron red peony with underglaze blue and gilt-lined leaves, inside the cup; a pale underglaze blue border with a gilt jagged edge, inside the lip, and gilding to the handle.
