Dessert dish, square, Swansea 'duck egg' paste, greyish translucency, slight green tinge to the pitted glaze, prominent foot rim, moulded with eight large and eight small lobes; centre painted in polychrome enamels with a lattice-woven basket, overflowing with garden flowers, on a background of earth, grass and flowering plants; cavetto with a border of scrolled and seeded gilding, rim painted with three butterflies within a gilt dentil border.
