Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim, cushion moulded and straight spreading sides with lobed lip; painted in polychrome enamels in the centre with a flower bouquet, including pink roses, poppies, cornflowers, and convolvuli, and two butterflies; hatched gilt arcaded border with stylised flower pendants, and enclosing flower heads; underside painted with one butterfly.
