Reaping machine
Reaper or Reaping machine, early 20th century. Stamped 'MASSEY HARRIS CANADA', cast iron/iron frame and mechanism, complete with rakes, (sails) and platform. Note that pole has been shortened, - converted for tractor use. The main cog wheel has a chain drive mechanism and has depth adjusting lever. Complete with two cutting knives but seat missing. Size: Width of cut 68" (172.7 cms) [from classification card: RP; 15/09/2006]
