Tray, tin-plate, oblong 'sandwich' form with rounded corners and flat rim; the underside covered with a black japan, the upperside covered with a chocolate brown japan and decorated in silver to which the varnish has given a golden tinge with an outer border of stylized flowers and an inner border of a scroll and leaf design.
