Medieval ceramic ridge tile
Mid to dark grey gritty fabric light red to fawn at the surface and with an olive-green glaze thinning towards the edges. There are signs of over firing and this may account for the angle of the 'comb'. All ridge tiles found on excavation had a crest and were trimmed with a knife.
