Cup and saucer
Cup, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a straight-sided foot-rim, cylindrical sides curving inwards towards the base, grooved loop handle; decorated with on-glaze transfer-prints in brown, to one side of the exterior body a scene showing a male figure kissing the hand of a seated female figure while another female figure looks on in a garden setting with a small dog in the foreground and a gardener behind, to the other side of the exterior body another scene showing a garden setting with stone balustrades, an urn an a statue, a brown band around the interior lip-rim. A crack to one side of the cup. Saucer, soft-paste porcelain, circular shape with rounded foot-rim and curving sides; decorated with to the centre of the well an on-glaze transfer-printed in brown showing a scene made up of an amalgamation of those on the cup with three figures in a garden setting with stone balustrades, an urn, statues and a small dog in the foreground, to the bottom right of the scene is the inscription "RH. Worcester" with a small anchor besides it, a brown band around the rim.
