Medieval copper alloy pin
This is a long fragment from a pin or needle shank, or it could be part of a light hairpin. The object is missing the head or eye that could positively identify it either way. The shaft of the needle is slim with a slight bend. One end is flat, presumably broken, which the opposite end has a sharp point.
