Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plate, earthenware, standing on an incised foot rim with a double incised band above, spreading sides; the rim, convex and moulded in eighteen equal lobes, giving a pie-crust effect to the outer rim; the entirety of the upper side, transfer printed in purple with the 'Mignionette' pattern, consisting of scrolling stylised sprigs and flower heads within a geometric border of triangles and semi-circles issuing swags of foliage.
