Bowl, pearlware with a strong blue tinge to the glaze, standing on a waisted foot, rounded curving sides; decorated in underglaze blue with to the interior of the bowl the inscription "RUM & WATER" enclosed by a border of interlacing lines, scattered floral sprigs around the interior and exterior sides, blue bands around the rim.
