Roman samian bowl
Upper zone fragment in a good fabric. The decoration is a straight wreath formed of double leaves with a widely spaced bead row linking them. The leaf appears to be one used by Germanus. Several early potters used a similar leaf, and the use of a straight wreath of this type is generally an early feature.
