Stand, hard-paste porcelain, lozenge shape with short foot-rim and curving lobed sides, a slightly raised edge around the centre of the well, moulded foliate scrolls at either end of the stand; painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the well a landscape with ruins, an insect to either end of the well and a small ladybird to the centre of the well, the moulded scrolls picked out in puce, gilt lines around the centre of the well and the rim.
