Baxter, Thomas (junior) (1782 - 1821)
Campana-shaped vase, soft-paste porcelain, with square foot, spool-shaped stem, a lip round the rim, a row of applied pearls round the rim and stem, two single serpent handles; enamelled with a dead canary reserved on a peach and gold vermiculi ground, a band of foliage reserved in peach in a gold band round the base of the body of the vase, gilded caillouté pattern on the foot.
