Dish
Dish, pale buff-coloured earthenware, circular form, standing on a short foot-rim, curving sides and slightly flaring rim; covered all over with a thick white tin-glaze, this then decorated in blue with to the centre of the well a large capital "B" within a circular panel surrounded by a wide border of conventional acanthus leaves on a dark blue ground, the sides of the well divided into eight compartments decorated with brushwork designs, the exterior sides of the dish dashed with strokes and spirals. The dish broken and repaired, and is now very fragile.
